Google is all set to launch their version of Groupon – Google Offers. Google had earlier offered to buy the company for a reported $6 Billion which was turned down by the Groupon Management team.

As per an official statement from Google “Google is communicating with small businesses to enlist their support and participation in a test of a pre-paid offers/vouchers program. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort at Google to make new products, such as the recent Offer Ads beta, that connect businesses with customers in new ways. We do not have more details to share at this time, but will keep you posted.” Google Offers makes it easy for you to attract new customers and bring back old ones by enabling you to instantly post discounts and other types of special offers across Google properties.

Google is now soliciting applications from businesses to register for the Google offers beta test. Businesses can get in touch with Google using this link https://services.google.com/fb/forms/merchantoffers/
